The Pick-Up style acorn harvester has a basket that you lift out of the machine, so you can dump the acorns wherever you prefer. If you are unable to lift 40 pounds, you may want to consider the Large Acorn Picker with Flip-Up Basket instead. 16-Inch models hold up to 30 pounds and 24-Inch models hold up to 40 pounds of nuts. Recommended for Red, Sawtooth, Chestnut, Scarlet, and White Oak trees, if you have smaller acorns like with a Pin Oak, try the Small Acorn Picker with Pick-Up Basket. NOTE: Bur Oak acorns should be picked up with the Black Walnut Harvester with Pick-Up Basket.

We recommend that your grass be kept at 5 inches or less for maximum effectiveness. Some small twigs and leaves will be picked up, but they will not clog the machine. For best results, remove large sticks and dense leaves prior to using your Bag-A-Nut.
