With proper, sealed, airtight storage pecans should have a shelf life of 2-4 weeks. They should last in the refrigerator up to 9 months. They freeze very well and should last up to 2 years. You can thaw pecans and refreeze repeatedly during the duration of the freezer time without much loss of flavor or texture.
