This item does work pretty well, minus the gum balls getting clocked/blocked where they go into the basket. When that happens I just have to use my hand to push them down to the basket and kind of even them out. Does pick a bunch of them at once which is why it gets clogged. My main concern is the durability and longevity of the tool since it is mainly made of hard plastics. Because of the materials it is made from I feel the price is extremely steep, but want to take a chance on it since I had a yard full of gum balls and it always takes way too long to pick/clean them up. I will say I used it for the first time just a few days ago and was able to fill eight 32 gallon trash cans in a couple of hours all around my yard.
