The 18″ Bag-A-Nut Chestnut Harvester makes chestnut collection faster and easier—allowing you to gather nuts in a fraction of the time it takes to pick up by hand. Our chestnut harvesters will pick up all chestnut varieties. Maneuver smoothly under and around trees while harvesting an 18” wide path with each pass. As you push, the wheels collect and eject the nuts directly into a removable basket. When the basket’s full, simply lift it out, empty it, drop it back in, and keep going.

I purchased and used these tools for the first time this year. Both the model for gathering chestnut burrs and the one for collecting the chestnuts themselves work exceptionally well and do a fantastic job. I am already considering purchasing an additional unit.
I believe these products would be very useful here in Japan as well, but they seem to be largely unknown, and very few people are aware of them. It would be wonderful if they became more easily available for purchase here.

It works, which is the primary evaluation. It is way overpriced given its simple design and plastic chassis structure. I am kind of disappointed that it is not at least cast aluminum or steel.
