Tines that pull out acorns could be a bit more robust, otherwise good product
Kind of iffy. Not picking up acorns like I thought it would. I pull with mower, that pushes acorns into ground. I may need to order the push bar for it and do manually.
item works well enough, I am thinking of making an attachment to mount it on the front of my mower so I am not running over the acorns before it can pick them up.
Let me preface this message by saying that I very much like your company and believe you have some excellent products. I ‘ve been very successfully using my manual push 18″ Acorn Bag-A-Nut for several years now. After talking to your team on the phone about buying a new pull behind version and discussing my acorn sizes, your representative said it would be best to go with the green fingered LARGE acorn model. Unfortunately, that appears to not be the correct decision. After pulling the new Large acorn unit over a 10′ X 50’ strip in my yard for 7-8 return passes, I collected and emptied the baskets at about 2/3 full. Seemed to miss a lot of 5/8″ to 3/4″ diameter acorns (have pictures if you’d like to see them) – so I ran a single pass over the same area with my old small/medium acorn blue fingered Bag-A-Nut and it basketed another 2″ of acorns that the new 36″ pull behind missed. Drove the mower very slowly, but still quite disappointing performance on the new pull behind. Not sure what my options are here?? – please advise and enjoy your day!!
