Description
Say goodbye to back-breaking cleanup! The Stab-A-Nut Acorn Picker-Upper makes picking up acorns quick, easy, and pain-free—no bending or crawling required. Designed for spot-picking under one or two trees, this handy tool lets you collect acorns simply by “stabbing” them off the ground.
Just press the picker head down over the acorns, and the flexible tines grab and hold them in place. When full, use a quick downward motion on the built-in ejector handle to release the acorns into a bucket, collection pail, or yard waste bag.
Perfect for use on a variety of surfaces—grass, dirt, sand, or even concrete—the Stab-A-Nut keeps you comfortable while keeping your lawn clean.

After a summer of unusually little rainfall, our water oaks dropped more acorns than we’d ever seen. We could barely walk in the yard or on the deck without painful encounters with acorns. Raking helped, but in the process we also collected leaves, dirt, & grass.
I searched several big-box stores, but their tools did not seem effective according to reviewers. Then I found Bag A Nut company online. Along with larger tools for larger areas, they sell this small, budget-friendly, “Stab-a-Nut” hand tool that we can easily store, & use as needed.
(I did “Sort” for prices “Low to High.” Otherwise I might not have discovered it.)
Shipping was very fast, and this “Acorn picker-upper” collects whole acorns well, using their recommended technique.
Because it is a hand tool, we don’t cover much yard area quickly. Some might call this tedious. But we are not having to bend down to pick up piles of dirt, debris, & the acorns to fill trash cans. We’ve used the tool about 20-30 minutes daily, and made progress.
Even our grandchildren want to take turns “stabbing the acorns” that have been hurting their bare feet.
Does what I need
Doesn’t pick up acorns.
