Twenty pounds of weight may be overkill (?) You can also likely pick up weights for less money at a local store.
The plastic washers fell off within one minute of use. The assembly diagram did not make sense when I first put the weights on because the washers easily come off over the top of the plastic pin. Give it a look and you will see what I am talking about.
Definitely helps pick up the acorns with this extra weight.
Weights help a lot.
